Eid-el-Fitr: Osoba Felicitates With Muslims, Tasks Them To Pray Against Covid-19

A federal House of Representatives, representing Abeokuta North, Odeda and Obafemi-Owode Federal Constituency, Hon. Olumide Osoba has felicitated with Muslims faithful on the celebration of eid-el-fitri .

He appealed to Muslims to use the period to pray fervently for peace in the country.

Hon. Osoba  also advised them to pray at home during the celebration and ensure they obey the lockdown rules put in place by the federal and state government.

He prayed God to accept the supplications of the faithful during the Ramadan and bestow unparalleled blessings on the people.

“The Ramadan fast, he said, has afforded us the opportunity to reconnect with our creator and extend the hand of fellowship to our fellow men. However, as we celebrate, we should not forget the lessons learnt, compassion and love for fellow men.”

Osoba therefore charged Muslims  to use the occasion of the Eid-il-Fitri celebrations to rededicate themselves to values and virtues to promote peace and unity in the country.
