Against All Odds, Akinosi Wins APC Ado-Odo/Ota Federal Constituency Primary Elections

The Commissioner for Forestry in Ogun State, Engr. Tunji Akinosi,has been declared winner of All Progressives Congress (APC) Ado-Odo/Ota House of Representatives ticket.

The rescheduled primary election held at Alamuwa Grammar School,Ota yesterday where the venue was invaded by some political thugs in the presence of security operatives which included the men of Nigeria Police, Army, Amotekun among others.

Our correspondent gathered that despite the pandemonium which broke out, the security re-enforcement however prevented further disruption of the election as the election committee declared Tunji Akinosi winner.

Delegates, party leaders including the deputy governor,Alh Noimot Salako however unanimously supported the choice of Tunji Akinosi who was later declared the winner by the electoral committee sadle with the responsibility of conducting the senatorial primary election in the constituency.
