'I Don’t Think Garteh Bale is Focused' – Zinedine Zidane

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has conceded that he “does not know” if Gareth Bale is focused on playing for the club.

Gareth Bale has been strongly linked with a return to the Premier League this summer and he another below-par display in Madrid’s embarrassing 1-0 loss to Rayo Vallecano on Sunday.

Spanish outlet Marca has reported that the Wales international was the only member of Los Blancos’ squad not to get on the team coach after the match, instead travelling separately to the airport to board a private flight.

Asked if he got a committed display from Bale at the Estadio de Vallecas, Zidane told reporters: “I do not know if he’s focused on Madrid.”

Bale will reportedly be offered to Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United as part of a swap deal for one of Christian Eriksen or Paul Pogba.
