'The Corruption Taking Place in Higher Institutions of Learning is so Alarming' - EFCC Boss Magu

The Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu has repeated his purpose and that of the Commission to make the battle against monetary and budgetary wrongdoings progressively serious in Nigerian higher establishments of learning.

Hamza Ridwan, second-in-direction, Maiduguri Zonal Office talked for the benefit of Magu when a designation of National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Zone C, involving North-east and North-focal zones went ahead an affability visit in Maiduguri Zonal office.

As indicated by Magu: "The battle against defilement in the higher establishments of learning over the North-east, North-focal and the nation everywhere is certifiably not another one to the Commission. Be that as it may, the Commission can't do only it; we need the coordinated effort of partners like the understudies association delegates.

"The defilement occurring in higher organizations of learning is so disturbing and we need you to advise us with realities and your character won't be unveiled. When you hear grumblings from scholarly and non-scholastic staff in your different foundations, you ought to be gallant to come and answer to the Commission."

As pioneers of tomorrow, Magu asked Nigerian understudies to disregard debasement. "Ensure you avoid defilement at this stage, since you are speaking to understudies who are the pioneers of tomorrow and the overall population too."
