Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti state has been elected as the new chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF).
Governor Kayode Fayemi, who is the former minister of mines and steel developmet, was elected as chairman of NGF during a meeting of the forum in Abuja, The Nation reports.
It was gathered that the Ekiti state governor had been the favourite to pilot the affairs of the forum after the governors reportedly rejected Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna state.
