Senate Confirms Emefiele for Second Term

Members of the Senate has confirmed the reappointment of the CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele for another term of five years. 

This comes after President Buhari sent a letter to the lawmakers asking for the confirmation of Emefiele’s re-appointment.

Emefiele was first appointed by former president Goodluck Jonathan in June 2014.
