Ogun SA on Youth Matters Visits PCN Command, Promises Better Working Relationship | Photos
The Special Assistant to the Ogun State Governor on youth matters, Mr. Lamide Lawal has paid a courtesy visit to the Ogun State Command of Peace Corps of Nigeria and assured the Commandant of a better working relationship.
He confirmed that the efforts of the Peace Corps of Nigeria in youth reorientating, peacebuilding, volunteerism and other social services deserve commendation.
He noted that he sees the Corps as a strategic partner in achieving the philosophy of the present administration in the state which is about 'building our future together'
The Special Assistant assured the Commandant that he would further facilitate a better working relationship with the ministry of youth and sports in the state.
Earlier, the Commandant, Patriot Olufemi Akinyemi noted that Peace Corps officers in the state have been living up to expectations and required supports from stakeholders in the state.
He highlighted programs that have been done in the state and listed the pending ones.
The Commandant equally called for a better working relationship with the Special Assistant and other stakeholders in the ministry of youth and Sports and the Ogun State government.
