Makinde Visit Moniya inferno scene,pledges Rebuilt of razed shops
This afternoon, Gov. Seyi Makinde was at Moniya, Akinyele Local Government to assess the degree of damage caused by the inferno from the petrol tanker explosion on Friday, May 8, 2020.
The governor, who was recieved by the Caretaker Chairman of Akinyele Local Government,
Hon. Taoreed Adedigba empathized with families of those who lost their lives, and also, people who lost valuables and properties to the incident.
He assured that the government would as a matter of urgency intervene so as to cushion the effect of the terrible fire incidence.
He added that the local government will rebuild the shops which will be allocated to affected shops owners.
