Sunday Akamo SA, who is aspiring to represent Abeokuta South Federal Constituency, in Abuja, has referred to Late King Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III, as a revered King in Yoruba Kingdom.
He gave this remark through his Media Team on Saturday, while asking God to forgive him his sins and grant him eternal rest.
In describing the late Monarch, Akamo considers him as a pillar in Yoruba Kingship.
“King Lamidi Adeyemi, during his reign, permanently chaired the Oyo State Council of Obas and Chiefs. Other Obas came to him for wisdom and directive. Iku Baba Yeye is a force to reckon with.”
While rendering his heartfelt messages, SA, commiserates with the Oloris, children and the entire Adeyemi family on the demise of their patriarch and worthy father.
He sends his condolence to Oyo Kingdom and Yoruba race, saying that the Council of Obas, entire son's and daughters of Oduduwa and Nigeria as a whole will miss him.
