Olumide Jones Tasks OGSIEC On Credible LG  Elections, Warns Against Rigging

The Senatorial Aspirant under the umbrella of Peoples Democratic Party in Ogun state relays his fear about the usual conduct of the local government elections in Ogun state.

Hon Olumide jones in a media chat  with journalists in Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital. 

He said  the opposition party are now in fear to participate in local government elections because they have lost confidence in OGSIEC.

With the present situation of the country, it's obvious that the masses would be willing to vote for PDP in the coming local government elections, but there are fears as to whether the OGSIEC will not make it as usually contest.

OGSIEC should restore confidence of Ogun indgine by conducting free and fair elections.

This election is the most important election because it determines the development of the grassroots.

Local government elections in the last few years have always been largely rigged and full of inconsistencies, but the Umpire can strengthen our democracy more by organizing free and fair local government election in the state, he said.
